APeL supports development processes, performs research and carries out learning evaluations


We are currently working in the following areas:

  • Learning evaluation in order to support reflection, analysis and further development.
  • Organisational change, coordination and support for networking, partnerships and innovation in order to promote learning and professional development.
  • Development of new methods that combines formal and informal learning, as well as individual and organisational learning.
  • Development of new approaches that allows for the workplace and the educational system to work more closely together.
  • Interactive and critical research in the areas of workplace learning, growth and regional development, and sustainable development work. Our research is performed together with, not on, the participants.

In addition to the above listed subjects, we work with dialogue-based seminars and conferences, training, publishing of books and articles. Also, we actively participate in the formation of opinion and activities which intend to influence organisational structures.

All of these tasks share the same goal – to stimulate workplace learning and organisational development.
